Chobe National Parks

Asplendid and flamboyant park, Chobe National Park has one of the world's largest elephant populations in Africa. The natural unspoiled environment of the Chobe, makes one to wonder whether there is any other place in the world where the sun rises and sets in its own peculiar way like it does in Chobe region.

In 1998, American President Bill Clinton and wife Hillary came to see the beautiful and wild of the Chobe when they toured Africa.

The park is the second largest in the country covering an area of about 10, 566sq.km. The Chobe River flows along the northern edge of the park bordering Botswana and Namibia and gives that rare natural colourful feature.

Camping facilities which exists in the Chobe National Park includes: Serondela, a developed site with ablution facilities; Linyati, partially developed; Savuti a temporary camping ground and Noghatsaa yet to be developed.
